We have updated our Scholarship Recipients page (click here), which lists the name, high school and college of all DCP scholars from 2009 to date.

Important Information Regarding Payments Of Scholarship Money To Schools

We have had several students calling and asking if the scholarship money has been sent to their school yet. Before you call, please click on the "status" link in the lower right corner of our Home Page (or click
here) to check the status of payments for The Detroit College Promise or The Detroit Housing Commission Scholarships. State colleges and universities know which students were awarded scholarships, but we cannot send them a check until their drop/add deadline has passed, and the college or university has verified that each student is full time (12 credits or more). More details are on the Status page.

Some Reminders About Our Scholarship!

Students in 9th grade must register for the Detroit College Promise by December 1, 2012 or they will not be eligible. You must also live in Detroit and attend a Detroit Public School to be eligible. Our scholarship is good for 10 years from graduation, so even students who do not plan to use it immediately may use it in the future.
