012What Are The Next Steps For Seniors?

In January, we will start sending seniors more information about the next steps they have to take in the scholarship process.  Seniors must send us three forms:

  • A high school transcript (to confirm that they are attending a DPS school)
  • A completed scholarship acceptance form (click here)
  • A financial aid award letter from the college / university they will be attending.

For examples of what award letters look like click here, or here.

heck The Deadline
Juniors And Seniors - Check Those Deadlines!

Many students think that there are scholarships with deadlines in every month of the year. This is not always the case. Deadlines peak in the fall and spring. Summer is the lowpoint. Many families wait until spring of the senior year in high school to figure out how to pay for college, missing half the deadlines for seniors. Continue searching for scholarships even after you have enrolled in college.
