Complete the online Detroit College Promise application form by clicking on Student Login above. This should be done by December 1 of your senior year. Please complete this form even if you are not sure whether you will be using our scholarship or not - it only takes a few minutes.
Apply to the colleges / universities of your choice.
Fill out the free FAFSA financial aid form at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. This should be available by January 1, and should be completed by February 28 of your senior year, or you may not be eligible for some grants. Once you have been accepted by a college, they will send you a financial aid package which indicates what grants you will receive
When you have decided on what college or university to attend, complete the Detroit College Promise scholarship acceptance form (click here), and mail, fax or email both the scholarship acceptance form AND the financial aid package from the college you will be attending to us.
