The Detroit College Promise Annual Drive

We recently sent you our Annual Drive appeal. This is the main way  we fund our scholarships, and 100% of all contributions goes to scholarships. Click here to contribute now.

Contributions to our 501 (c)(3) nonprofit are tax-deductible as allowed by law, and are paid directly to Michigan public colleges and universities for tuition expenses for our scholarship recipients.

We appreciate your donation!

Detroit College Promise Scholars - Tell us your Story!

To All Past Scholarship Recipients of the Detroit College Promise
Please take a few minutes, and write down your story. You can do this in any form that suits you: a letter to us, a poem, a song, or maybe just a paragraph. We will share your story with other students, school staff, and Detroit community members, to motivate and encourage them.

You will be serving as a sign of hope and inspiration for your community.

The top three entries will receive a GIFT CARD PRIZE and will be featured in our February newsletter! All entries must be submitted

by February 1st.

Please email, mail or fax your entry to us, with the header "My Success Story".

Please include your first and last name. Typically we will include your first name and last initial with your submission. If you would prefer something else please let us know.

Thank you for your hard work!

Registrations still being processed

The deadline to turn in DCP applications has passed. We received an overwhelming response this year so we are still adding registrations to our database. We hope to be done by the end of 2013!

Below is breakdown of the number of students registered for our scholarship by DPS high school, as of December 10th.  This only includes registration forms we have entered thus far. Percentages may be inaccurate due to duplications or transfers.
