Welcome our New DCP Intern

null Hello Detroit College Promise future scholars! My name is Hannah McLaughlin and I will be working for Detroit College Promise as an intern for this year. I am currently a student at the University of Michigan completing my Masters in Social Work. Before that I attended Ferndale High School, Albion College and worked for City Year Detroit for one year. I am so excited to be a part of this organization and work hard to get you all the scholarship you so rightly deserve!

We would like to thank Mary Nehls-Frumkin & Jeff Frumkin, two of our "Believers", for their generous contribution to scholarships for the class of 2014.

Attention 9th Grade Students!

School is back in session and it is time to register for the Detroit College Promise scholarship if you haven't already done so. Remember, our only requirements are that you live in Detroit, attend a DPS high school through graduation and submit the necessary documents by the deadline.

Registration is quick, easy and can be done online at or by clicking here. The Class of 2013 scholarship recipients were awarded between $150 - $600 to attend a Michigan public college or university.

The deadline to register this year is December 1st, 2013.
