Help Celebrate Arise Detroit's Neighborhoods Day!

ARISE Detroit! invites everyone to participate in the 6th annual ARISE Detroit! Neighborhoods Day, Saturday August 4, 2011. Neighborhoods Day is unique because it is not an event held in just one place like many downtown celebrations. Instead, it is held simultaneously, in neighborhoods all over the city on the same day. This day showcases what hundreds of community groups, block clubs, churches and businesses are doing to create a better community. The goal is to reconnect city residents with each other, learn about community programs and re-embrace the neighborly spirit that many of us grew up with years ago.

Challenge Grant extended to July 31!

Our challenge grant for donations has been extended to July 31, 2012.  Every donation will be matched 50% (thus, a donation of $50 will actually be worth $75).

Please donate $25 or more to help us provide much needed financial support to Detroit students.  With your help, we will be able to provide a larger award for the class of 2012.  Our mission is to inspire and support students from kindergarten to college, and your generosity will make a big difference.  Remember, 100% of your donation goes to our scholarships.
