May 2012

This is our monthly general email about The Detroit College Promise. For the class of 2011, we have 170 graduates who "claimed" their scholarship. We are awarding them $47,000 in scholarships, and we helped them obtain $1.5 million in total grants for this college year from all sources. We are encouraging all students in grades K-8 to sign up today by visiting, then click on Student Login, then New Student sign-up.  We will announce the scholarship award amount at our student reception in July.
