1. Complete the simple Detroit College Promise application form (clickhere) at the beginning of your senior year. The absolute deadline is February 15. We plan to have an online application, but a signed copy must also be either mailed to us at the address below, faxed to 248/646-3119 or scanned and emailed toNatPernick@Hotmail.com.
2. Apply to the colleges / universities of your choice.
3. Fill out the free FAFSA financial aid form athttp://www.fafsa.ed.gov/.This is usually available by January 2 of your senior year, and should be completed by February 28 of your senior year, or you may not be eligible for some scholarships.
4. When you are accepted to a college or university, mail, fax or email us your financial aid package, and we will tell you how much our scholarship will pay. Note: the college or university needs a completed FAFSA form before it sends out a financial aid package.
5. When you have decided on what college or university to attend, complete the Detroit College Promise scholarship acceptance form (clickhere), and mail, fax or email it to us.
